The 2025 South African Open golf features a total prize money fund of $1,500,000 for the DP World Tour event.
The South African Open is the latest event of the 2025 DP World Tour schedule and takes place at Durban Country Club for the first time in 15 years.
It was last held in November 2023 as part of the end of year South African swing, but moves to February in the current season.
The tournament is co-sanctioned between the DP World Tour and Sunshine Tour and takes place from February 27-March 2.
A total of $1,500,000 in prize money is on offer, the same as in 2023 when Dean Burmester won the title at Blair Atholl Golf & Equestrian Estate in Johannesburg.
The winner of this year’s event will collect $255,000.
