The 2025 The Sentry features a total prize money fund of $20 million for the PGA Tour’s season-opening event.
The first event of the new 2025 PGA Tour season, the event takes place in Hawaii from January 2-5 with a select field going head-to-head.
The field features winners from the previous PGA season as well as golfers who finished in the top 50 in the FedEx Cup standings.
In total, 59 players will be in Hawaii for the 2025 The Sentry and there is no weekend cut.
Formerly known as the Tournament of Champions, the event was first staged back in 1958 and is now held at the Kapalua Resort (pictured in the main image) in Hawaii.
The prize purse for the 2025 edition of the tournament is $20 million as one of the eight signature events of the season.
The winner of the 2025 The Sentry will collect a hefty $3,600,000 for first place, the same amount that Chris Kirk earned when victorious in 2024.
