The 2026 English Trophy is a €300,000 prize money HotelPlanner Tour event taking place from September 10-13 at The Caversham in Reading, England.
It is the second of two English stops on the 2026 Road to Mallorca schedule and marks the HotelPlanner Tour’s return to England after a three-year absence.
The English Trophy returns to the calendar for the first time since 2022, when Switzerland’s Jeremy Freiburghaus defeated Germany’s Max Schmitt in a playoff at Frilford Heath to win the event.
It is the second English tournament of the season after the English Open at The Vale Golf Club, which was won by American John Catlin following a seven-hole playoff against Kristian Krogh Johannessen.
At The Caversham, a maximum field of 156 players will contest the four-round tournament, with the leading 65 professionals and ties after 36 holes advancing to the weekend.
The tournament follows the Rosa Challenge Tour in Poland and carries the same €300,000 HotelPlanner Tour prize money with the winner receiving €48,000.
