Having gone close on a number of occasions to breaking his European Tour duck, Spaniard Arnaus finally achieve the victory on home soil when winning a play-off to land the Catalunya Championship.
Arnaus produced a seven-under par final round at the Stadium Course at PGA Catalunya Golf and Wellness to finish level with Oliver Bekker on 11-under. He then won the play-off at the first extra hole.
It was a memorable win for the 27-year-old who is a Catalonian born and bred in Barcelona.
Arnaus had twice lost play-offs in DP World Tour events when losing to Rafa Cabrera-Bello at the Open de Espana in 2021 and to another Spaniard Pablo Larrazabal at the MyGolfLife Open in 2022.
