Verdict: Is the Callaway Chrome Soft ball any good?

The Chrome Soft golf ball is extremely forgiving and the improved soft feel makes it easier to control than the previous version.

The Chrome Soft has a lower spin rate than other balls in the same area of the market like the Pro V1 and TP5 and is easier to control around the greens. But don’t think this is soft, soft because you still get impressive distance.

It is no surprise that this high-performer has become a go to option for golfers of all skill levels from beginner to tour pro.
