Tardy shot a final round of seven-under par at Jian Lake Blue Bay Golf Club in China to win the Blue Bay LPGA by four shots.

The American ended on 17-under par, four shots clear of compatriots Sarah Schmelzel, to claim her first victory on the LPGA.

LPGA Tour and Epson Tour player Tardy worked with Mizuno in a summer intern role, but became a Next Gen player in 2023 when signing an equipment deal with Mizuno.

Tardy was a standout player at the University of Georgia, becoming SEC Freshman of the Year in 2016, winning the 2018 Georgia State Amateur Championship and qualifying for the US Women’s Open in 2014, 2016 and 2017.

She was also a member of the United States’ 2016 Curtis Cup and made her tour debut in 2019 when securing a spot on the Epson Tour.

She secured a first Epson Tour win in 2021 with victory in the Copper Rock Classic.
