Danny Lee: What’s In The Bag

Danny Lee Bag

Danny Lee landed his first victory since switching tours when claiming the title at the LIV Golf Tucson in March 2023. A look at Danny Lee: What’s In The Bag.

The South Korean-born New Zealander hadn’t won since 2015, but justified his decision to move to LIV Golf after winning in only his second event.

Lee won a four-man play-off at the second extra-hole at Gallery Golf Club to win the LIV Golf Tucson and claim the biggest pay day of his career.

Lee had finished tied in top spot with Louis Oosthuizen, Brendan Steele and Carlos Ortiz on nine-under par for the 54 holes in Arizona.

It was Lee’s first win since landing his only previous PGA Tour success in the 2015 Greenbrier Classic.

Prior to moving to the United States, Lee also won on the DP World Tour in the 2009 Johnnie Walker Classic as an amateur.

He then claimed victory in the then Nationwide Tour in 2011 with the title at the WNB Golf Classic moving him on his way to the PGA Tour.

Prior to his win in Tucson, Lee was ranked 267th in the Official World Golf Rankings.
