The Dubai Desert Classic golf is the second event of the 2022 DP World Tour calendar and this year has been upgraded to be part of the prestigious Rolex Series.

It is staged at Emirates Golf Club in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

A top class field features the likes of last year’s Race To Dubai winner and two-time major winner Collin Morikawa and four-time major champion Rory McIlroy.

Paul Casey is the defending champion after victory in the Dubai Desert Classic in 2021.

The Dubai Desert Classic will be played over four rounds / 72 holes at the Emirates Golf Club in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.

• Day 2 – Friday, January 28
• Day 3 – Saturday, January 29
• Day 4 – Sunday, January 30

The tournament carries a prize fund of €6,215,965 or $8,000,000.
