Elvis Smylie What's In The Bag

Elvis Smylie claimed the biggest win of his career when winning the Australian PGA Championship in November 2024. A look at Elvis Smylie: What’s In The Bag.

The young Australian secured one of the biggest prizes on home soil as he defeated a high-class field by two shots to win the 2024 Australian PGA Championship.

Smylie finished on 14-under par at Royal Queensland for the 54-hole event, which was hit by rain, and defeated hero and mentor Cameron Smith into second place.

The win was Smylie’s first on the DP World Tour and, as it was co-sanctioned, his second on the Australian PGA Tour in the space on two months.

Smylie also won the Bowra & O’Dea Nexus Advisernet WA Open in October 2024 having won a play-off with Jak Carter.

Victory in Queensland also ensured Smylie now has DP World Tour status.
