Englishwoman Hamilton landed a breakthrough victory as she recorded a two-shot win in the 2026 South African Women’s Open.
In what is her second season on the Ladies European Tour, Hamilton raced into a first round lead and finished on 15-under par, two clear of Cara Gainer in Cape Town.
Hamilton’s best previous result was a runners-up finish in the Czech Ladies Open in 2025.
She had a four-year collegiate career at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga from 2018 to 2022 before turning professional in 2024.
