The event is the first of the FedEx Cup series to end the 2022 PGA Tour season, and has been renamed for 2022 having previously been known as The Northern Trust.

The FedEx St Jude Championship is played at TPC Southwind in Memphis, Tennessee, for the first time this year.

Tony Finau is the reigning champion having won the event in 2021.

The FedEx St Jude Championship will be played over four rounds / 72 holes on the TPC Southwind in Memphis, Tennessee, with a cut after the opening two rounds.
