Hannah Green: What’s In The Bag

Hannah Green What's In The Bag

Hannah Green landed her fourth LPGA Tour victory with success in the 2023 HSBC Women’s World Championship in March 2023. A look at Hannah Green: What’s In The Bag.

The Australian hadn’t won in 11 months since her previous success in the 2023 LA Championship, but claimed a one-shot victory in the HSBC Women’s World Championship in Singapore.

Green finished on 13-under par at Sentosa Country Club, one shot clear of Celine Boutier after both shot five-under par final rounds.

In April 2023, Green ended a wait of more than three years as she returned to the LPGA Tour winners’ circle with victory in the JM Eagle LA Championship.

The Australian hadn’t won on the LPGA Tour since September 2019, but defeated Aditi Ashok first and then Lin Xiyu to claim the victory in a play-off in California.

Green’s first LPGA Tour winner came in the 2019 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship as she also lifted her first major title.

She then doubled up by winning the 2019 Cambia Portland Classic later the same year.

Prior to joining the LPGA Tour, Green won three times on the Symetra Tour with victories in the 2017 Sara Bay Classic, Murphy USA El Dorado Shootout and IOA Golf Classic.

Green also won twice on the Australian ALPG Tour in 2017 in the Pennant Hills Pro Am and Hope Island Pro Am. She returned home to win the Vic Open and TPS Murray River in 2022.

Prior to victory in the HSBC Women’s World Championship, Green was ranked 29th in World Rolex Rankings.
