The German came through a three-man play-off to win the title in the 2026 Bahrain Championship from Calum Hill and Patrick Reed.
The trio had all finished on all 17-under par at Royal Golf Club before Schott won the title at the second extra-hole. Reed departed at the first play-off hole and then Hill conceded at the second play-off hole.
Schott had won twice before in his career, the first a Pro Tour win in the 2021 FaberExposize Gelpenberg Open and on the Challenge Tour in the 2022 Frederikshavn Challenge.
