Lee was winning on home soil in South Korea as he recorded a clear-cut three-shot victory in the 2025 Genesis Championship.
The South Korea has started the final round four shots back, but a final round of seven-under par saw him finish on 11-under par. That was enough to beat Nacho Elvira by three shots.
Lee previously won twice as a professional, the first of them back in 2017 when winning the Caido Golden V1 Open on the Caido Series.
He was also victorious in the Golfzon DYB Education Tour Championship in 2018 on the Korean PGA Tour.
