The Lazrus LAZ2-D driver is the latest addition and a first adjustable model from the brand. How have Lazrus taken their budget-friendly designs up a notch?
Lazrus wedges have caught the attention of golfers seeking value for money for quite some time, and a driver, fairway woods, irons sets, hybrids, putters and a stylish bag followed.
Now Lazrus have entered unchartered territory with a first adjustable driver that is set to take things to a whole new level and open up the brand to a wider range of golfers.
Still incredibly cheap and value for money, the LAZ2-D driver design has improved to deliver more distance and forgiveness and include an adjustable hosel to alter setup – and it is seriously good too.
Lazrus Driver Specs, Design & Features
Lazrus’ first driver was five years in the making, but they have quickly built on the solid performance it delivered and introduced the adjustable LAZ2-D.
The key design change is the introduction of an adjustable hosel that allows the driver to be setup as you need it to be with four degrees of options in loft.
The large 460cc driver head is retained in the almost expected sleek matte black look but it delivers more in yardage, accuracy and speed than the predecessor.
The durable titanium clubhead and face has bee designed to increase ball speed compared to the previous driver and the spring effect takes things to the edge of USGA standards.
The powerful ball speeds are not hampered due to off-center strikes because the driver also has a larger sweet spot to provide more forgiveness and provide maximum distance from across the face.
The driver comes with three graphite shaft options of different weights and you can choose from regular graphite shaft (62G), a stiff graphite shaft (68G) or a senior (60G) weight.
The LAZ2-D driver is sold in 9 degree and 10.5 degree lofts in both right-hand and left-hand options, and is adjustable by two degrees up or down.

Lazrus LAZ2-D Golf Driver Review: Is it any good?
Lazrus continue to perform well as a challenger brand and a first adjustable driver enhances their offering quite significantly.
Manly customers – particularly mid-handicap golfers or high-handicappers – enjoyed the original driver because of the distance and accuracy it delivered for the money outlayed.
The adjustable driver is equally affordable and has even more performance gains from an enlarged sweet spot and more springy face that delivers on distance promises.
The adjustability is the key thing though. At this price point, you don’t expect to be able to adjust the setup of your driver but the new LAZ2-D does exactly that.
