Sixteen LIV Golfers will tee it up at Valhalla Golf Club for the 2024 USPGA Championship after seven were granted invites into the major.
Nine of LIV Golf’s stars had already been assured of their place in the 156-strong line-up for the second major of 2024.
That number has ballooned to 16 with the LIV Golf tour now having more than a tenth of the entire field in Louisville, Kentucky for the 2024 PGA Championship.
LIV Golfers Qualified For The PGA Championship
A total of nine LIV stars earned their place at Valhalla Country Club through major wins, world ranking points or as past champions of the tournament.
One of those is defending champion Brooks Koepka, who became the first LIV golfer to win a major when triumphing in the 2023 USPGA at Oak Hill Country Club in New York.
Martin Kaymer and Phil Mickelson, who won in 2014 and 2005 & 2019 respectively, are other past champions teeing it up.
Dustin Johnson and Jon Rahm earned their spots as past Masters champions in the last five years, Bryson DeChambeau for his US Open success and Cameron Smith as an Open Championship winner.
Andy Ogletree booked his spot by being in the top three of the Official World Golf Ranking’s International Federation Ranking List.
Tyrrell Hatton finished in the top-15 at Oak Hill 12 months ago, which entitled him to his place,
LIV Golfers Invited Into The 2024 USPGA Championship
The seven LIV golfers handed invitations into the event were Dean Burmester, Talor Gooch, Lucas Herbert, Adrian Meronk, Joaquin Niemann, David Puig and Patrick Reed.
Reed is the only former major champion having won the 2018 Masters Tournament, but his exemption into the USPGA ended two years ago.
Gooch was the most notable inclusion after he had surprisingly failed to get an invited into the 2024 Masters at Augusta.
