The event, also known as Made In Denmark, is part of the 2022 DP World Tour season. It first joined the European Tour in 2014.

The event takes place at HimmerLand Golf & Spa Resort in Farso, Denmark.

The Made In Denmark tournament was first held in 2014 and has been part of the DP World Tour ever since, with the exception of 2000 when cancelled due to the Covid pandemic.

Bernd Weisberger is the reigning champion after winning the tournament for a second time in 2021.

Former winners of the event include Marc Warren, David Horsey, Thomas Pieters, Julian Suri and Matt Wallace.

The Made In Denmark golf will be played over four rounds / 72 holes at the par 71 HimmerLand Golf & Spa Resort in Farso, Denmark. There is a cut after the opening two rounds.

• Day 2 – Friday, September 2
• Day 3 – Saturday, September 3
• Day 4 – Sunday, September 4

The tournament carries a prize fund of €3,000,000.
