Maltby KE4 TC Pro Driver Specs & Design

The KE4 TC Pro has a pretty standard look on the face of it with a standard 440cc club head, but it is under the bonnet where the Maltby designers push the boundaries.

The Pro driver is jammed-packed with engineering and technology including featuring a precision-cast Beta 8-1-1 titanium body paired with a forged 6-4 titanium face.

The unique combination leverages the high tensile strength and low density of Beta 8-1-1 Titanium, enhancing strength while maintaining flexibility.

The driver crown’s thin design keeps this model lightweight but still preserves energy at impact to help produce the high ball speeds low-handicap and elite level golfers are seeking.

The 6-4 Titanium Variable Face Thickness (VFT) also contributes to faster ball speeds even from off-center strikes with a relatively soft feel from the face.

The driver includes an interchangeable 8 gram head screw weight on the sole to optimise the center of gravity. The CG is positioned at the center of the face for maximum distance and a consistent trajectory.

The KE4 TC Pro is sold as 10 degrees as standard with one degree of adjustability up and down. There are eight different loft and lie settings in total.

Maltby KE4 TC Pro Driver

“The increased flexibility of the very thin .6mm driver crown helps preserve the golf balls energy at impact in exactly the same way as a thin, flexible titanium face achieves higher ball speeds at impact.

“A 6-4 titanium Variable Face Thickness (VFT) face delivers faster ball speeds from off center as well as center impacts. The forged 6-4 Titanium produces a very pleasingly solid yet soft feel at impact.

“The KE4 TC Pro adjustable CNC milled aluminum hosel features 8 different settings to fine tune your ball flight trajectory and golf shot dispersion.

“The vertical and horizontal center of gravity of the TC Pro driver is located in the center of the club face for maximum distance and repeatable trajectory on center hits.

“The TC Pro driver does not require the ball to be struck slightly higher and on the toe of the club face to reduce the vertical and horizontal gear effect of the club head at impact.”
