DP World Tour star and world number 29 Marco Penge has made a shock switch to PXG after signing a multi-year staff deal with the brand.
The 27-year-old had previously been a Mizuno staff player, signing with the brand in 2022, before climbing from the Challenge Tour to full DP World Tour status and ultimately to the PGA Tour for 2026.
Penge has opted to switch allegiances and become a staff player for PXG with a multi-year club, hat and staff bag deal signed ahead of the start of his 2026 season.
The Englishman will have PXG’s new Lightning Tour Mid driver as part his his bag setup as well as the Secret Weapon Mini Driver and 0317 ST irons as he steps onto the PGA Tour for the first time in 2026.
He is expected to retain the Mizuno Pro Fli Hi utility iron, Titleist Vokey SM10 wedges and Scotty Cameron GOLO 6.2 putter in the bag.
The move sees Penge join a PXG staff line-up that already includes Christiaan Bezuidenhout, Eric Cole, Jake Knapp, Celine Boutier, Auston Kim and Megan Khang.
Marco Penge x PXG Reaction
“When Marco Penge pulls the big stick, it’s good for around 320 yards,” PXG said. “He’s one of the longest hitters in the game, and the numbers back it up.
“That power has translated into results. In 2025 alone, Penge secured three DP World Tour victories – the Hainan Classic, the Danish Golf Championship, and the Open de España presented by Madrid – staking his claim as one of Europe’s standout competitors this season.
“Aggressive by nature and entertaining by default, Penge plays on the front foot. Big drives, big wins, and a game people stop to watch.”
Marco Penge Career Wins & Success
Penge is coming off a breakout 2025 in which he won three times on the DP World Tour at the Hainan Classic, Danish Golf Championship and Open de Espana.
It was the kind of form that took him down to the wire with Rory McIlroy for the Race To Dubai crown, secured his PGA Tour card for 2026 and propelled him inside the world’s top 30 for the first time in his career.
Statistically one of the most powerful and accurate drivers of the golf ball on the DP World Tour in 2025, Penge ranked first in Strokes Gained Off The Tee with an average of over 319 yards.
