Max Kieffer claimed the first DP World Tour win of his career when landing the Czech Masters title in August 2022. A look at Max Kieffer: What’s In The Bag.
Germany’s Kieffer shot a final round of six-under to win the D+D Real Czech Masters by one shot for his maiden success on the DP World Tour.
His 16-under par total at The Albatross Club saw Kieffer finish one clear of Gavin Green in the Czech Masters, which was shortened to 54 holes due to weather.
It ended Kieffer’s wait for a top level victory after twice losing in play-offs at the Open de Espana in 2013 and the Austrian Open in 2021. They were two of four times he has finished runner-up on the DP World Tour.
His only previous win came on the Challenge Tour in 2012 when taking the Gujarat Kensville Challenge title in India.
The win moved Kieffer up from 279th to 210th in the Official World Golf Rankings.
