Mizuno T24 wedges are new for 2023 with increased spin rates and more control on offer from the latest T-Series model.

Replacing the T22 wedges, Mizuno have made subtle alterations to the design rather than sweeping changes in the bid to improve the performance in the latest generation.

The T24 wedges feature a new shape, more sole options, higher spinning grooves and a choice of three finishes in the latest release.

We take a look at the new technologies, how they perform and what you can expect from the new T24 wedges.

“Our craftsman’s re-work of Mizuno’s prolific T-Series wedge, with subtle top-line refinements visible from the playing position.

Mizuno T24 Wedges Specs & Design

Mizuno’s new T24 wedges have been tweaked from previous models to improve performance, particularly when it comes to spin and control.

The key design element in the new T24s is the QUADCUT+ grooves, which have been changed in the latest model to now be a much narrow groove pattern.

The grooves are closer together and have a new shoulder camper and taper to ensure spin levels are better than ever in a Mizuno wedge.

Mizuno has also added HydroFlow Micro Grooves to help keep water off the face of the club and ensure there is not lower levels of spin in wetter conditions on the course.

The clubhead itself has been redesigned with weight taken from the toe and hosel area allowing Mizuno to make the profile slightly smaller than in previous versions.

There is now increased sole relief all five grind options in the T24 range with that relief spanning heel to toe.

The leading edge of the wedges has also been straightened on the lofts up to 51 degrees, while the edge has been made more rounded on 58 degrees and 60 degrees lob wedges.

The wedges are available in five grinds: C-Profile for a mid/high bounce, D-Profile for a mid bounce, S-Profile and the new V-Profile for high bounce and the X-Profile for low bounce.

The T24 wedges are available in three colour options: Soft White Satin, Denim Copper and Tour Raw.

Verdict: Are Mizuno T24 wedges any good?

In short, yes. The have some nice improvements compared to the T22 range and offer more spin and better consistent control that the previous version.

The changes to the groove pattern and new hydro laser etching means you get all-round better performance even in wet conditions and with water on the face of the club.

The addition of the V-Profile grind means there is a complete range of options to really get the perfect setup for your wedge game.
