The Japanese star won the event in her homeland with the Toto Japan Classic co-sanctioned by the LPGA Tour and the LPGA of Japan Tour.
Her score of 22-under par earned a one-shot victory over Bae Seon-Yoo and Shiho Kuwaki in the Toto Japan Classic.
Inami was a silver medallist at the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 2021 and is now a 13-time winner on the LPGA of Japan Tour.
Her first win came in 2019 in the Century 21 Ladies Golf Tournament before she triumphed in the Stanley Ladies Golf Tournament in 2020.
In a sensational 2021, she won the titles at the Meiji Yasuda Life Ladies Yokohama Tire Golf Tournament, Yamaha Ladies Open Katsuragi, Fujifilm Studio Alice Ladies Open, Fujisankei Ladies Classic, Chukyo TV Bridgestone Ladies Open, Nitori Ladies Golf Tournament, Japan LPGA Championship Konica Minolta Cup and Ito En Ladies Golf Tournament.
She added more victories to her CV in the Richard Mille Yonex Ladies Golf Tournament and Nitori Ladies Golf Tournament in 2022 before landing the Toto Japan Classic title in 2023.
Before her win in the Japan Classic, Inami was ranked 93rd in the Rolex Standings.
