Odyssey have launched the new Ai-ONE Square 2 Square putters range with three zero torque models – the Double Wide, #7 and Jailbird.

The Square 2 Square series is designed to improve putting performance with a centre-shafted setup that makes them Stroke Balanced, promoting a square face throughout the stroke.

The Square 2 Square putters utilize a “zero torque” design, where the center of gravity is on the same plane as the shaft and a toe up angle which promotes a square face throughout the stroke.

Just like the Ai-ONE putters and Ai-ONE Milled putters, the Square 2 Square trio have been created using Artificial Intelligence for the more stable and consistent results yet.

The Max Stripe and Max 1 putters have also joined the series and in late 2025 the Square 2 Square Tri-Hot range was also launched.

Odyssey Ai-ONE Square 2 Square Double Wide Putter Design & Features

The popular Double Wide model is part of the Square 2 Square series, providing a wider-bodied, longer blade putter designed for exceptional stability and high MOI.

This version of the Double Wide has a modern center-shafted construction that promotes a toe-up balance, encouraging the putter to remain square throughout the stroke path.

This model is ideal for golfers seeking a traditional blade-style putter with enhanced forgiveness with a slightly deeper head thanks to the Double Wide extension.

The Double Wide features the Ai-ONE insert, combining an aluminum backer with a White Hot urethane face insert for consistent ball speed across the face.

The putter has a 3.3 degree forward shaft lean, which pre-sets the hands in a forward press position to help to prevent the face opening during the stroke.

The #7 model in the Square 2 Square series is the latest version of Odyssey’s popular #7 head shape with a traditional mallet look.

This model typically features a fang-style mallet design with alignment aids and provides a balance between forgiveness and traditional aesthetics.

Like the other models in the range, it incorporates the Odyssey Ai-ONE insert technology and has center-shafted design for improved consistency and face control throughout the stroke.

The setup of the of the center shaft and toe up design is what contributes to the zero torque and the promise of the Square 2 Square results.

The Ai clubhead design includes unique contours on the aluminum backer of the face insert, which is then co-molded to a White Hot Urethane face.

This model also had a 3.3 degree forward shaft lean for a natural forward press position and helps contribute to the straight back and through results.

The #7 has interchangeable front weights which can be swapped to alter setup. Choose from 5, 10, 15, and 20 grams in the putter head.

Odyssey Ai-ONE Square 2 Square Jailbird Putter Design & Features

The Jailbird is described as a classic Odyssey shape featuring Versa alignment technology and is the latest edition of the hugely successful Jailbird putter.

The Jailbird is a large headed mallet-style putter that is renowned for offering high MOI and stability, and the Square 2 Square version is no different.

The Jailbird incorporates the center-shafted design that is used across the series and has a toe-up setup to help promote a square face throughout the putting stroke.

It also features the Ai-ONE insert with an aluminum backer and White Hot urethane striking surface that produces consistent putting results on the greens.

Like the others in the series, the Jailbird has a 3.3 degree forward shaft lean and a natural forward press position to keep the clubhead square at impact.

With interchangeable front weights in the design, the putter head weight can be customized using the 5, 10, 15, and 20 grams weights.

Zero torque is the technical term for no twisting, and the new releases deliver just that with a perfect square face at impact thanks to the clever center shaft and AI clubhead design.

Although there are only three models in the series, they are in fact Odyssey’s best selling three designs including the Jailbird that has taken the world by storm. Despite the cost, they really are an impressive new launch.
