Patrick Reed has signed an endorsement deal with PXG ahead of the start of the 2022 PGA Tour season.

The American major winner, who is currently 25th in the Official World Golf Rankings, saw his agreement with Parsons Xtreme Golf begin at the Tournament of Champions in Hawaii.

Reed will play PXG GEN4 drivers this season on tour as well as wear a PXG hat to promote the brand.

The deal was announced by PXG in a Twitter post unveiling Patrick Reed as the company’s new pro.

“PXG is such a natural fit for me,” Reed said. “I love the message they send, and the brand they have built, and that takes a great team.

“I’m so excited to be a part of the PXG troops and for what is to come.”

Reed added: “The new GEN4 drivers are in a class of their own. I love the launch, workability and spin.

“The sound is pure, and you feel like you can just unleash it. Safe to say, I’m very excited about this year.”

Reed joins the likes of Zach Johnson, Jason Kokrak, James Hahn, Kyle Stanley, Christina Kim, Brittany Lang and Celine Bouttier as PXG pros.

Reed became a major champion for the first time in 2018 when winning the Masters at Augusta, and the American has nine PGA Tour wins on his CV.

He has also successfully represented USA at three Ryder Cups and three Presidents Cups.
