That is now over, however, after Malnati recorded a two-shot victory over Cameron Young in the 2024 Valspar Championship at Innisbrook Resort and Country Club.

Malnati’s breakthrough win on the PGA Tour came in the 2015 Sanderson Farms Championship to cap an impressive start on the tour.

He had earned promotion from the Web.com Tour following victories in the 2013 News Sentinel Open and 2015 Brasil Champions.

The latest victory moved Malnati from 165th in the Official World Rankings to 65th.
