“In addition to the improvements made to the body construction, T100 benefits from a new precision CNC face milling process.

“Combined with a subtle shift in CG the result is more control and consistent ball flight, especially when moving from fairway to first cut.

“Working with Tour Pros and the grind experts at Vokey Design, our engineers were able to further improve our Variable Bounce Sole by smoothing and softening the trailing edge to allow the club to flow faster through the turf, even after contact. A simple but surprisingly meaningful improvement.

Titleist T100 Irons Specs & Verdict

The T100 irons proved to be one of the best sellers of the original T Series and Titleist have given them a makeover for 2023 with some new elements.

The T100s remain the compact players’ iron of this series having been an impressive performer in the bags of many tour stars including Jordan Spieth since originally launched in 2019.

They are once again dual-cavity forged in construction using a dense D18 tungsten and a 2000 degrees aerospace brazing process for the best feel yet.

The forging process has enabled the CG to be re-positioned marginally compared to the previous version, delivering a more consistent ball flight from across the face.

The face on the also features a new precision CNC face milling process for better ball striking.

Verdict: Are the new Titleist T100 irons any good?

The new T100 irons don’t appear to have major differences from first glance but Titleist have worked on a number of improvements to hone the performance further from the original model.

They remain compact and aimed at elite players but you can expect an improved feel thanks to a new face milling process and a new back bar as well as a better ball flight thanks to the CG being optimised.

The T100 irons delivered the goods for many over the last three years and their successors the second generation should take things to the next level.
