The Ping G440 K driver has been launched as a fourth model in the series and the successor to the popular G430 Max 10K driver.
The G440 series of drivers already includes the G440 Max, G440 LST and G440 SFT models with the trio having been on the market since early 2025.
Now the K version has been launched to provide another option for golfers who have the G440 in the bag with this the ultra-high MOI version for maximum stability and forgiveness.
Ping has been the boundaries with weight placement to make the G400 K the highest MOI driver at over 10,000 g/cm² to make it the most forgiving yet.
Pros & Cons
✅ Record-breaking MOI over 10,000 g/cm² minimizes dispersion on mishits
✅ Boasts 1-2 mph additional ball speed across the face compared to predecessors
✅ Adjustable 32g track backweight enables precise fade/neutral/draw setup
✅ Improved acoustics via internal ribbing produce a solid, muted “crack” rather than metallic ping
❌ Premium price excessive for budget-conscious players
❌ Deeper CG can launch too high for low-spin players
Ping G440 K Driver Specs & Features
The G440 K is a latecomer to the series of drivers but replaces the Ping G430 Max 10K as the version offering maximum stability and forgiveness.
The 460cc head features a longer profile with a shallower face compared to the standard G440 Max, enabling the deepest and lowest center of gravity (CG) Ping has achieved in a driver of this class.
A Dual Carbonfly Wrap covers both the crown and sole, saving significant weight from titanium replacements, which has been reallocated to a new 32g adjustable tungsten backweight which is 4g heavier than the G430 Max 10K’s.

The backweight offers full adjustability with the highest MOI in the “fade” position while maintaining head weight at 203g. There is also the possibility to place it in neutral and draw bias positions depending on setup preference.
The G440 K incorporates the same TS9+ face structure from the G430 MAX 10K with a thinner, faster titanium design for optimal ball speed retention, consistent flexion and COR across the face.
Refined Turbulator crown ridges on the clubhead marginally reduce drag to help maintain speed, especially at higher swing speeds.

An acoustic rib structure enhances sound and feel and combines with the low, deep CG to deliver high launch, low-mid spin and exceptional stability without sacrificing speed.
The G440 K is available in 9 degrees, 10.5 degrees and 12 degrees lofts with a High Launch (HL) version for slower swings using lighter shafts and a 28g backweight.
It has 1.5 degrees of adjustability in each direction available from Ping’s latest Trajectory Tuning 2.0 adjustable hosel.

Ping G440 K Driver Review: Is it any good?
Ping’s latest addition builds on the forgiveness, distance and stability strengths of the G440 line and the G430 Max 10K driver.
The G440 K provides high MOI forgiveness – the most in the range – and offers a real alternative to the other three models that have been successful around the world already.
The G440 K suits golfers prioritizing extreme forgiveness and consistency over workability or low spin and mid-to-high handicappers will love the fact it preserves ball speeds and tightens fairway finds.
It is a great choice for moderate swing speed players seeking high launch and low-mid spin without sacrificing distance, especially via the HL build with lighter 28g weight and shafts.
