Ping Becomes Official Sponsor Of LIV Golf’s Torque GC

Ping has officially signed as the primary sponsor of LIV Golf’s Torque GC with the partnership with the all-Latin American team beginning at LIV Golf Mexico City.

Following a similar move to Callaway’s partnership with Jon Rahm’s Legion XIII team, Ping have signed terms to sponsor the Torque team led Joaquin Niemann.

The new partnership was unveiled ahead LIV Golf Mexico City to mark the connection with all-Latin American Torque team.

Captained by Chilean Niemann, who has four wins on the LIV circuit, Torque GC also features Mito Pereira (Chile), Sebastian Munoz (Colombia) and Carlos Ortiz (Mexico).

The squad has already tallied four team victories since its inception in 2023 with the four Ping ambassadors now have a team tie up with the brand too.

“All four of the Torque GC team members played Ping equipment before turning professional and continue to do so today,” said John K. Solheim, Ping President and CEO.

“They’re more than brand ambassadors – they’re friends and fierce competitors. Supporting Torque GC aligns perfectly with our goal of bringing Ping to an even wider global audience.”

The sponsorship includes full Ping branding with all players carrying a staff bag and wearing branded headwear ans playing the company’s clubs.

Niemann notably made history in February by becoming the first player to win with the new G440 driver, triumphing at the Asian Tour’s Saudi International.

“My first set of clubs was a PING junior set,” Niemann said. “PING has always focused on performance, and the support they give our team is second to none.”
