The 2022 Scottish Open golf takes place from July 7-10. Watch an Scottish Open live stream of all the action from the DP World Tour event.

The Irish Open is the 18th event of the 2022 DP World Tour season, as well as being co-sanctioned by the PGA Tour, and is the final preparation event for the 2022 Open Championship.

The tournament takes place at The Renaissance Club in North Berwick, Scotland, hosting for the fourth successive time.

Min Woo Lee is the reigning champion after winning the tournament in 2021.

The event was first held in 1972 when it first joined the European Tour and moved to The Renaissance Club in 2019.

The Scottish Open was previously held at St Andrews, Gleneagles, Carnoustie, Loch Lomond, Castle Stuart, Royal Aberdeen, Gullane and Dundonald.

Scottish Open Format & Schedule

The Scottish Open golf will be played over four rounds / 72 holes at the Renaissance Club in North Berwick, Scotland. There is a cut at the 36-hole stage.

  • Day 1 – Thursday, July 7
  • Day 2 – Friday, July 8
  • Day 3 – Saturday, July 9
  • Day 4 – Sunday, July 10

The tournament carries a prize fund of $8,000,000.
