Srixon ZXi4 Irons (NEW 2025 Game Improving Irons Reviewed)

Srixon ZXi4 Irons Review

Srixon ZXi4 irons have been launched as the manufacturer’s new game improving model for 2025 as part of a comprehensive series.

The new ZXi4 irons – which replace the ZX4 Mk II model – join the ZXi5, ZXi7 and ZXiU long irons in the range along with ZXi drivers, fairway woods and hybrids.

The new ZXi4 irons are designed for distance and have the most forgiveness in the range, which is the reason they are targeted at golfers who need maximum help in launch, carry and accuracy.

This model has a two-piece hollow body, uses MainFrame technology and features new i-Forged technology for the first time for superior feel and performance.

Srixon ZXi4 Irons Specs & Design

The Srixon ZXi4 are the brand’s game-improvement irons with a hollow-body design, larger blade length, thicker topline and wider sole.

They prioritize forgiveness and distance and are the ideal option for higher handicappers of 15+, with the ZXi5 and ZXi7 irons more to better golfers.

Srixon ZXi4 Irons

The ZXi4 irons have a longer blade length and utilize a two-piece hollow body design with a soft SUS17-47 steel body and HT1770 face for exceptional ball speed and responsiveness.

They feature the new i-Forged technology which enhances feel by using a Condensed Forging process for improved feedback and responsiveness at impact and a more refined feel compared to previous models.

The forging process has also optimized weight distribution and further enhanced the center of gravity for better control and consistency.

Srixon ZXi4 Irons Face

The MainFrame technology in the Srixon ZXi4 irons features an AI-designed variable-thickness face, which incorporates a network of grooves, channels, and notches on the backside of the clubface.

This design maximizes face flex at impact, creates maximum energy transfer for higher ball speeds and has improved forgiveness across the face, while the new VT Sole design has enhanced ball striking in all turf conditions.

This model also has a widened toe-side channel to help lower the center of gravity (CG) and increase moment of inertia (MOI) for better consistency, stability and forgiveness.

The grooves on the face are also progressive across the set with wider grooves on long irons (4-iron to 7-iron) and deeper on the shorter irons (8-iron to Approach Wedge) to improve the control on offer.

The ZXi7s are available in 4-iron (21 degrees) to Sand Wedge (56 degrees).

Srixon ZXi4 Irons Review: Are they any good?

The ZXi4 irons offer a fantastic, powerful feel thanks largely to the new i-Forged technology process and there is a lot to like about the 2025 newcomer.

These irons deliver top-tier distance combined with seriously high levels forgiveness and that makes them an ideal option for players seeking all-round performance.

Despite being game-improvement irons, the ZXi4 maintains a clean, confidence-inspiring look at address. They don’t have the bulky look of some of the models in this sector.

They are particularly recommended for higher handicappers or golfers with slower swing speeds who need the added forgiveness and distance, but don’t rule them out if you are a mid-handicapper.
