Srixon ZXi5 Irons (NEW 2025 Model Reviewed)

Srixon ZXi5 Irons Review

Srixon ZXi5 irons have been launched as a new 2025 model with an i-Forging process creating a much improved feel from the premium irons.

The new ZXi5 irons replace the ZX5 Mk II irons and have been launched along with the ZXi7, ZXi4 and ZXiU long irons as well as new ZXi drivers, fairways and hybrids.

The ZXi5 irons are Srixon best feeling version yet thanks to a new i-Forging process, which unleashes greater ball speeds, improved feel and provides more workability than in any previous model.

Other tweaks in design include improve sole, groove patterns and tungsten weighting for an all-round performance from the ZXi5s.

Srixon ZXi5 Irons Specs & Design

The ZXi5 irons are the third generation of this model and the changes from the Mk II version are subtle in search of more performance gains.

The ZXi5 are once again the players’ irons with a multi-forged clubhead construction with the irons featuring SUP10 steel and the body a 1020 carbon steel.

The new i-Forging process has included Condensed Forging stretching from the high-toe area to add to the topline strength of the irons without taking away anything from both the durability and feel.

Srixon have also added tungsten weighting to the perimeter of the Main Frame design to perfect CG placement for ideal performance from the ZXi5.

The Mainframe face technology features variable thickness from toe to heel for maximum forgiveness wherever you strike from with weight savings enhancing the MOI thanks to a new series of milled channels on the back side of the face.

The ZXi5s feature a wider sole than the other models in the series with the Tour V.T. Sole’s ensure optimal impact through fairway, rough or sand and no loss of clubhead speed.

In the ZXi5 irons, progressive grooves are used with wider design in the 3-iron to 7-iron and deeper grooves that are closer together in the 8-iron to Approach Wedge.

The ZXi irons are available in 3-iron (20 degrees) to Sand Wedge (55 degrees).

Srixon ZXi5 Irons Review: Are they any good?

Srixon have improved the performance of the Mk II series by adding more flexibility and strength in the ZXi5 model.

The ZXi5 irons have both been improved without ripping up what was already working, instead optimizing the performance to deliver more accuracy and distance without taking away any forgiveness.

The new i-Forging process signals the biggest change with the process creating a more softer feel from the irons and a more pleasing sound.

They also deliver increased ball speeds and distance from the fairway, rough or tee boxes and offer an excellent blend of performance and forgiveness.
