Topgolf Greensboro will become the company’s latest golf entertainment venue in North Carolina with a 72-bay golf facility to open in late 2024.

The latest venture will add to the 98 Topgolf global venues and 88 in the United States when it officially opens in 2024 and add an alternative to the best North Carolina golf courses.

It will join the existing Topgolf North Carolina destinations at Charlotte – Southwest, Charlotte – University and Durham Raleigh.

The Greensboro facility will be home to 72 outdoor climate-controlled and heated hitting bays across two levels, on-field targets and is fully equipped with Topgolf’s Toptracer technology.

The Greensboro venue, located at a large shopping center development that’s currently under construction, also has a fully serviced restaurant and bar, outdoor area and also has a private event room for hire.

Topgolf Chief Development Officer Chris Callaway said: “It’s exciting to officially announce that construction efforts are underway on our Greensboro venue since there’s been buzz about it for more than a year.

“We can’t wait to welcome residents and visitors of Greensboro and the surrounding communities and introduce them to what our unique style of play is all about.”

Greensboro Mayor Nancy Vaughan added: “Bringing Topgolf to Greensboro is a ‘hole in one’ decision.

“This is another example of how we are able to diversify the types of companies investing in our community, while supporting the Council’s priority of being a hub of recreation and entertainment.”

The Greensboro Topgolf venue will be located along I-40 at the Guilford College Road exit, one exit from the I-40 and I-73 interchange.

The venue will be part of a large shopping center development that’s currently under construction.
