XXIO 14 Hybrids Joined By 14+ Model For 2026 (Reviewed)

XXIO 14 & 14+ Hybrids Review

The 2026 generation of XXIO hybrids break new ground with the launch of the 14 and 14+ models in an expanded range.

XXIO have revealed the successor to the XXIO 13 hybrids, but there is a significant change to the new 2026 game-improving design which features two different models for the first time.

The standard 14 model remains a lightweight option for handicap golfers and is joined by the XXIO 14+ model, which caters for golfers with higher swing speeds than previous.

The two rescues designs are part of a full new XXIO 14 series, launched along with drivers, fairway woods and irons.

Pros & Cons

✅ Very easy to launch high from both turf and light rough, ideal for moderate swing speeds
✅ Lightweight overall build helps increase clubhead speed without swinging harder
✅ Confidence‑inspiring head shape with plenty of forgiveness on off‑centre strikes
✅ More compact, player‑style 14+ head shape appeals to confident ball‑strikers
❌ Lightweight feel may lack the solid, heavy sensation some better players prefer
❌ Premium pricing for game-improvement style hybrids

XXIO 14 Hybrids Specs & Design

The XXIO 14 hybrids are the standard model of the two designs in the series and the direct replacement for the 13 hybrids.

The new 14 design has a multi-material construction including a forged VR-Titanium face that incorporates the brand new ULTiFLEX technology.

ULTiFLEX has replaced the BiFlex design used in the previous models and provides improved spring off the face and impressive ball speeds from across a wider area of the face.

Edge Cup Face boosts face impact while a High-Grip Milled Pattern on the toe and heel of the face adds spin and control in wet conditions or on off-center hits.

The Cannon Sole design has a large hollow behind the face for low CG as well as expanded toe and heel thickness for stability as well as aiding launch.

Also present is XXIO’s ActivWing ribs on the crown to refine airflow and generate faster swing speeds through the air.

The 14 hybrids are available in 3-hybrid (19 degrees), 4-hybrid (22 degrees), 5-hybrid (25 degrees) and 6-hybrid (28 degrees). They are non-adjustable.

XXIO 14+ Hybrids Specs & Design

The 14+ is the new addition to the series and a more compact option targeting golfers with faster swing speeds of 90mph+.

This model has a more compact crown with reduced offset for workability and focused feel, like the drivers, fairways and irons equivalents.

The model has the same ULTiFLEX VR-Titanium face for better energy transfer, Edge Cup Face for ball speeds and distance.

XXIO 14+ Hybrids

The High-Grip Milled Pattern ensures consistency with ball striking, particularly in wet conditions.

Also part of the design is the Cannon Sole to help lower CG and increase forgiveness levels and the ActivWing technology that helps aerodynamics and speed through the air.

The 14+ hybrids are available in 3-hybrid (19 degrees) and 4-hybrid (22 degrees). They are non-adjustable.

XXIO 14 Hybrids Review: Are they any good?

The new XXIO 14 hybrids have been tweaked rather than redesigned and continue to be an excellent choice for moderate swing speeds who need help creating speed, height and carry distance.

The interesting move is the introduction of the 14+ hybrid head, which is more compact from heel to toe with a slightly deeper face for a more traditional, tour‑inspired look that will appeal to better golfers with 90mph+ swing speeds.

It is an interesting move from a brand that has always been considered a game-improvement option, but the appeal to a wider range of golfers is a welcome addition for 2026.
