It was world number one Scheffler’s second victory in the season-ending event and his second victory of the 2026 FedEx Cup playoffs.
He was impressive in the 2026 FedEx St Jude Championship with Scheffler dominating the opening event of the playoffs to win by eight shots in Memphis.
Two weeks later, Scheffler took the Tour Championship title at East Lake with a three shot victory over Viktor Hovland to be crowned the PGA Tour’s 2026 champion.
He had early secured a four-shot victory in the opening event of the season, the 2026 The American Express in California in January.
The world number one now has 22 PGA Tour victories to his name including four majors in the 2022 and 2024 Masters, the 2025 PGA Championship and the 2025 Open Championship.
He has also won the WM Phoenix Open (2022 & 2023), Arnold Palmer Invitational (2023 & 2024), WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play (2022), The Players Championship (2023 & 2024) & Hero World Challenge (2023 & 2024).
He has also won the RBC Heritage (2024), Memorial Tournament (2024 & 2025), Travelers Championship (2024), Tour Championship (2024 & 2026), CJ Cup Byron Nelson (2025), BMW Championship (2025), Procore Championship (2025), The American Express (2026) and FedEx St Jude Championship (2026).
Scheffler also won 2024 Olympic gold in Paris at Le Golf National in Paris and twice on the Korn Ferry Tour in 2019 before graduating to the PGA Tour.
Scheffler was also part of the United States’ winning team in the 2021 Ryder Cup and 2022 and 2024 Presidents Cup, and the losing side in the 2023 Ryder Cup and 2025 Ryder Cup.
In 2024 Scheffler signed an extension to his equipment deal with TaylorMade.
