The 2025 Zurich Classic of New Orleans is the only official team event on the PGA Tour and defending champions Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry leading the betting odds.
Featuring 80 two-man teams, the Zurich Classic takes place from April 24-27 at TPC Louisiana with McIlroy and Lowry returning to defend their title.
The tournament has a unique format that alternates between fourball (best ball) and foursomes (alternate shot) across four rounds.
The first and third rounds utilize the fourball format, while the second and final rounds are played as foursomes.
McIlroy and Lowry, who secured victory in a playoff in the 2024 Zurich Classic, are aiming to become the first team to win back-to-back since the format’s inception in 2017.
