The venue previously staged the Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia from 2010-2017, which was an LPGA Tour event.

The inaugural LPGA Maybank Championship will feature a field of 78.

The LPGA Maybank Championship will be played over four rounds / 72 holes at West Course at Kuala Lumpur Country Club in Malaysia.

A field of 78 will play and there is no cut.

• Day 4 – Sunday, October 29

The tournament carries a total prize fund of $3,000,000 USD.
