The Spanish Open is the latest DP World Tour event and takes place at the Club de Campo Villa de Madrid in Madrid, Spain.

The tournament is the national championship of Spain and was first held in 1912. It joined the European Tour in 1972.

Jon Rahm is the defending champion having won the title in 2022, his third title in his home event following victories in 2018 and 2019.

The Open de Espana will be played over four rounds / 72 holes at the par 71 at the Club de Campo Villa de Madrid in Madrid, Spain. There is a cut after the opening two rounds.
