Team USA and the Internationals will clash in the 2026 Presidents Cup at Medinah Country Club in Illinois from September 24-27. A look at the 2026 Presidents Cup teams.
The 16th Presidents Cup will be played in the Chicago area, with Brandt Snedeker captaining the United States and Geoff Ogilvy leading the International side.
Team USA are the defending champions after their 18.5-11.5 victory at Royal Montreal in 2024 and will be bidding for another victory on Medinah Country Club’s No. 3 Course.
Neither side has been finalised, but the leading six players are in line for automatic qualification, with both captains then set to make six wildcard selections.

The International team is set to comprise six automatic qualifiers and six captain’s picks from Geoff Ogilvy.
The automatic places went to the top six eligible non-European players in the Official World Golf Ranking after the Tour Championship.
Si Woo Kim, Hideki Matsuyama, Ryan Fox, Hideki Matsuyama, Tom Kim, Min Woo Lee and Adam Scott claimed the six automatic positions.
Corey Conners narrowly missed out, but the Canadian would be an extremely likely selection for Ogilvy.
Jason Day brings major championship pedigree and Presidents Cup experience, while Nico Echavarria, Ryo Hisatsune and Nick Taylor have each put themselves firmly into the conversation through their 2026 form.
Sungjae Im would also be difficult to overlook given his match-play record and previous International Team experience.
