The Shriners Open is the third event of the fall section of the 2023 PGA Tour season and takes place at TPC Summerlin in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States.

The 2023 edition will create a piece of history with LPGA Tour star Lexi Thompson taking part following an invite.

The tournament dates back to 1983 when originally played over five rounds. It has been a standard 72-hole event since 2004.

The Shriners Children’s Open was previously known as the Panasonic Las Vegas Pro-Celebrity Classic, Panasonic Las Vegas Invitational, Las Vegas Invitational, Invensys Classic at Las Vegas, Michelin Championship at Las Vegas, Frys.com Open and Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open.

The tournament has been played at a number of Las Vegas courses over the years, including TPC Las Vegas, Bear’s Best Golf Club, Southern Highlands Golf Club, Wynn Golf & Country Club, Las Vegas Country Club, Las Vegas National Golf Club, Sunrise Golf Club, Spanish Trail Golf & Country Club, Wildhorse Golf Club, Dunes Country Club and Stallion Mountain Golf Club.

Tom Kim is the defending champion having won the title in 2022.

Other winners of the event include Fuzzy Zoeller, Curtis Strange, Greg Norman, Paul Azinger, Davis Love III, Jim Furyk, Tiger Woods, Webb Simpson, Patrick Cantlay, Bryson DeChambeau and Sungjae Im.

Shriners Children’s Open Format & Schedule

The Shriners Open will be played over four rounds / 72 holes over the TPC Summerlin in Las Vegas. There will be a cut after 36 holes.

• Day 1 – Thursday, October 12
• Day 2 – Friday, October 13
• Day 3 – Saturday, October 14
• Day 4 – Sunday, October 15

The tournament carries a prize fund of $8,000,000 USD.
