The 2024 Open Championship takes place at Royal Troon in Scotland and will be the 10th time the historic venue has staged the tournament.
The last time the Open visited Royal Troon in Ayrshire on the west coast of Scotland was in 2016 when Henrik Stenson was crowned champion.
Arthur Havers (1923), Bobby Locke (1950), Arnold Palmer (1962), Tom Weiskopf (1973), Tom Watson (1982), Mark Calcavecchia (1989), Justin Leonard (1997) and Todd Hamilton (2004) have also lifted the Claret Jug at Royal Troon.
The 2024 edition also represents the 152nd Open as another chapter of the famous major is played out.
Brian Harman is the reigning champion after winning the 2023 Open Championship at Royal Liverpool.
