The 2025 Barracuda Championship features a total prize money fund of $4 million for the PGA Tour and DP World Tour co-sanctioned event.
The tournament is part of the 2025 PGA Tour season and the 2025 DP World Tour schedule with the event co-sanctioned as an alternative to the 2025 Open Championship.
The Barracuda Championship takes place from July 17-10 on the Old Greenwood Course at Tahoe Mountain Club in Truckee, California.
The event was first held in 1999 and since 2022, the tournament has also been co-sanctioned with the DP World Tour.
The tournament was a strokeplay event between 1999-2011 but since 2012 has been played using a modified stableford format.
The prize purse for the 2025 edition of the tournament is $4 million, the same as in 2024 when Nick Dunlap was crowned champion.
The winner of the 2025 Barracuda Championship will collect a hefty $720,000 for first place.
