The Joburg Open golf is a co-sanctioned tournament between the European Tour and the Sunshine Tour and previously took place at the start of the schedule in November 2023.
For the 2025 DP World Tour season, the South African event has been pushed back to March and concludes the International Swing portion of the calendar.
The tournament, which was first held in 2007, is played at Houghton Golf Club in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Dean Burmester is the defending champion having won the 2023 Joburg Open.
Other former winners include the first-ever Joburg Open winner Ariel Canete, Richard Sterne, Anders Hansen, Charl Schwartzel, Branden Grace, George Coetzee, Andy Sullivan, Haydn Porteous, Darren Fichardt, Shubhankar Sharma, Joachim B. Hansen, Thriston Lawrence and Dan Bradbury.
