Thriston Lawrence: What’s In The Bag

Thriston Lawrence What's In The Bag

Thriston Lawrence claimed his sixth DP World Tour when defending the Omega European Masters title in September 2026. A look at Thriston Lawrence: What’s In The Bag.

Lawrence hadn’t won in more than two years prior to recording a two-shot victory in the 2025 Omega European Masters in Switzerland.

After another 12 months without a victory, Lawrence returned to Crans-sur-Sierre and successfully defended his title in 2026 with a play-off victory over Paul Casey.

It was his third win in the event having also won in 2022 with another play-off success over Matt Wallace.

Lawrence’s first win on the DP World Tour came when he won the Joburg Open in November 2021 in his homeland.

He then claimed another victory on home soil when winning the South African Open in December 2022 and took the BMW International Open title in June 2023.

Prior to his DP World Tour wins, Lawrence won the 2015 Ras Al Khaimah Classic on the MENA Tour, the 2018 Big Easy Challenge 15 on the Big Easy Tour and the 2019 Vodacom Origins of Golf at Stellenbosch in 2019 on the Sunshine Tour.
