The Wyndham Championship has previously been known as the Greater Greensboro Open, KMart Greater Greensboro Open, Greater Greensboro Chrysler Classic and Chrysler Classic of Greensboro.
The tournament has been played at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina, since 2008. It was also held at the venue previously as well as at Sedgefield Starmount Forest and Forest Oaks.
Aaron Rai is the reigning champion having won the event in 2024. He is among the leading betting odds contenders for the 2025 Wyndham Championship.
