The Solheim Cup line-ups will be chosen by Europe captain Anna Nordqvist and USA team captain Angela Stanford, who lead Europe and the United States respectively at the 20th edition of the biennial showdown.
The 2026 Solheim Cup returns to Europe with the United States arriving as defending champions after their success in 2024.
Europe will bid to reclaim the trophy on home soil in Cromvoirt in the Netherlands, but who will feature in the 2026 Solheim Cup teams?

Europe 2026 Solheim Cup Team

Nordqvist has named Caroline Hedwall and Mel Reid among her vice captains, bringing significant match play experience into the European backroom team.
The European team is made up of eight automatic qualifiers, with the top two players on the LET Solheim Cup points list earning their places first.
Charley Hull and Chiara Tamburlini currently occupy those LET Solheim Cup points spots, reflecting strong performances on the Ladies European Tour over the qualifying period.
The next six automatic places go to the leading LET members on the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings not already qualified via the Solheim Cup points list.
Lottie Woad, Maja Stark, Celine Boutier, Carlota Ciganda, Linn Grant and Esther Henseleit hold those positions ahead of the final event of the qualification process.
There will also be four captain’s selections, with Nordqvist set to complete her dozen after the final qualifying event the AIG Women’s Open at the start of August.

The USA team is made up of nine automatic qualifiers and three captain’s picks made by Stanford.
The top seven players on the US Solheim Cup points list earn spots, with Nelly Korda, Angel Yin, Jennifer Kupcho, Auston Kim, Allisen Corpuz, Yealimi Noh and Lauren Coughlin currently occupying those positions.
Two more players will qualify as the highest-ranked Americans on the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings not already selected via the points list, with Andrea Lee and Lindy Duncan in position as things stand.
Three further places will be handed out as captain’s picks by Stanford once the qualifying period concludes at the 2026 CPKC Women’s Open in August.

- Day 1 (Friday, September 11): 4 x foursomes (morning) and 4 x fourballs (afternoon).
- Day 2 (Saturday, September 12): 4 x foursomes (morning) and 4 x fourballs (afternoon).
- Day 3 (Sunday, September 13): 12 x singles matches.
