The tournament moves to the spring portion of the 2026 LPGA Tour schedule having been played in the fall for all previous editions.
The Kroger Queen City Championship joined the LPGA Tour for the first time in 2022 with the first two took place at Kenwood Country Club in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States.
The event moved to TPC River’s Bend in Mainesville in 2024 and 2025, but now switches to Maketewah Country Club as it hosts an LPGA tournament for the first time.
Ally Ewing was the first winner of the Kroger Queen City Championship in 2022 with Minjee Lee, Lydia Ko and Charley Hull following her onto the honour roll.
Hull is among the leading betting odds contenders for the defence of her title in 2026.
