Kruyswijk finished on 18-under par in the Kenya Open at Muthaiga Golf Club to claim his maiden DP World Tour success at his 139th attempt on the tour.

The South African finished two shots clear of John Parry in Nairobi after carding a final round of three under par.

Kruyswijk won the 2023 Dormy Open on the Challenge Tour and is also a three-time Sunshine Tour winner following successes in the 2016 Lion of Africa Cape Town Open, 2021 Sunshine Tour Invitational and 2023 Vodacom Origins of Golf at Zebula.

He also won the 2013 The Els Club on the Big Easy Tour and recorded IGT Pro Tour wins in the 2012 Serengeti Challenge and Race to Q-School as an amateur, 2014 Battle of the Giants Glendower Golf Club and 2015 Wanna be a Champion Academy Classic, CA Academy Classic and Race to Q-School.
