The Bay Golf Club Remain Undefeated After TGL Win Over Jupiter Links

TGL Golf

The Bay Golf Club secured a decisive 6-3 win against Jupiter Links Golf Club to remain unbeaten and top of the TGL standings this season.

In the 12th match of TGL’s inaugural season, The Bay were too good and solidified their undefeated record at 4-0 and in top spot in the SoFi Cup Standings.

The Bay GC had already secured their spot in the playoffs without playing 24 hours earlier with results going their way.

They are joined in the finals by Los Angeles Golf Club and Atlanta Drive GC, who were assured of their spot after Jupiter Links failed to win.

Jupiter Links (1-3-1) face an uphill battle to qualify with the last playoff berth to go to either Tiger Woods’ team, New York Golf Club or Boston Common Golf.

On Tuesday night, the first two holes were tied before the The Bay took the lead on the third hole. Jupiter Links hit back as they won their first point on the 5th hole.

Min Woo Lee chipped in from 24 feet on the 6th hole to give The Bay a 2-1 lead and nearly repeated the feat again on the 8th hole only for the ball to lip out.

The 9th hole proved pivotal as both teams played their hammer and Shane Lowry claimed all three points for The Bay with a six-foot eagle putt to send his side 5-1 up.

Tom Kim and Kevin Kisner won the 10th and 14th holes respectively to give Jupiter Links hope, but Wyndham Clark secured the final point for The Bay Golf Club on the last hole to seal their fourth TGL win from as many matches.

Woods missed the match following the recent death of his mother, but LIV Golf‘s Brooks Koepka did make an appearance in the audience.
