Aldrich Potgieter landed the first PGA Tour title when winning the Rocket Classic in June 2025. A look at Aldrich Potgieter: What’s In The Bag.
South Africa’s Potgieter needed to win a three-man playoff at TPC River Highlands in Michigan to claim the title at the 2025 Rocket Classic.
Potgieter finished on 22-under in the PGA Tour event along with Max Greyserman and Chris Kirk before sealing victory at the fifth extra hole.
Potgieter had been denied earlier in 2025 when losing a playoff with Brian Campbell at the second extra hole in the Mexico Open.
The South African’s previous professional win came when still a teenager when he took out the 2024 The Bahamas Great Abaco Classic on the Korn Ferry Tour.
Ahead of the start of the 2026 season, Potgieter made the switch from Titleist to sign for PXG and play a full bag of the brand’s clubs.
His setup now includes Lightning driver, Secret Weapon Mini Driver, GEN8 driving iron, GEN8 irons, 0317 irons, Sugar Daddy III wedges and Tour Series Brandon putter.
