Andrea Lee: What’s In The Bag

Andrea Lee

Andrea Lee claimed her first LPGA Tour win when landing the Portland Classic title in September 2022. A look at Andrea Lee: What’s In The Bag.

American Lee shot a final round of six-under par to win the Portland Classic by one shot for her maiden success on the LPGA Tour.

Her 19-under par total at Columbia Edgewater Macan Course saw Lee finish one clear of Daniela Darquea in Portland for her first victory at elite tour level.

Lee was a star of the amateur game before turning professional, including qualifying and making the cut at the 2014 US Women’s Open at Pinehurst when aged just 15.

In 2019, she was ranked as the world’s leading amateur and amassed more wins as a college golfer for Stanford University than any other player.

Lee got her LPGA Tour card in 2020 but had struggled to make an impact and dropped down to the Epson Tour in 2022, winning the Casino Del Sol Golf Classic in April.

Lee was ranked 74th in the Rolex Rankings for the World Women’s Golf Standings before the win and jumped up to 52nd in the world.
